Because we believe that the spirit of Aloha and our local values are Hawaii's most important export, we created aio Discovery to effect real change, to make a real difference around the world.
In partnership with international volunteer organizations, aio Discovery sends several employees abroad each year for enriching, hands-on experience helping build and improve communities in developing countries. Since 2005, aio people have worked in India, Ethiopia, Costa Rica, Russia, Brazil and elsewhere - building homes, caring for the sick, teaching classes, installing irrigation and water filtration systems and helping in many other ways, all the while embracing new cultures and, in turn, spreading and sharing the culture of Aloha.
